We had a wonderful couple of nights glamping at The Grove. They provided everything we could have needed. The yurts kept warm all night after having had the wood burner on. Having the swimming pool to ourselves was a bonus. We especially loved roasting marshmallows around the camp fire.

S Haynes, google review

Just back from The Grove Glamping in a 4 person Yurt, it was a fantastic place with really clean showers and facilities. They have really thought of everything to make the stay special. Also a 5 min walk to the beach and all that Cromer has to offer. The swimming pool was wonderful and warm and we enjoyed that we could book personal slots each day. My kids particularly enjoyed toasting marshmallows at the central firepit each evening with the friends they had made. Sundown pizza was great too. We will be back.

Ruth and Rich - owners of The Grove Glamping

About Us

Our Story and Mission

I’m Ruth, and together with my husband and our three lively children, we run The Grove Glamping on the beautiful North Norfolk coast...

My grandparents bought The Grove in 1936, and I was lucky enough to grow up here — camping in the garden with my 4 siblings, exploring the woods, and spending long summer days on Cromer beach. Those childhood adventures inspired me to create The Grove Glamping in 2014–15, so families could enjoy the same magic of outdoor living in a place filled with history and heart.
I built the original site with my late father, John — a project full of hard work, laughter, and memories I’ll always treasure. Since then, Rich and I have lovingly developed the yurts and Shepherd’s Lodge year after year, creating a luxury glamping experience we’re proud to share and one we regularly enjoy with our own children.
Family is at the core of everything we do. Our hope is that your stay at The Grove Glamping gives you the chance to slow down, reconnect, and make unforgettable memories here in Cromer — just as my family has for generations.

"We have just been to The Grove Glamping and were blown away by this amazing place! We spent the day at the beach which is only a 5 minute walk through woodland and then enjoyed Tapas and Pizza at the Sundown restaurant which is on the grounds.Every detail has been thought of in the Yurt's and they couldn't be more comfortable. The grounds are immaculately kept and there is lots to explore. What a great find and we will be back very soon!"

Stuart A, Aug 2025

"We had a lovely 2 night stay in the Shepherd's hut, a brilliantly designed little space with many thoughtful touches and a well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed using the big green egg for dinners and the hot tub was a treat in damp October. Entry and Exit arrangements were smooth and straightforward. The location is great for walking into Cromer or down to the beach.."

Shail P, Oct 2025

"Lovely stay in the Norfolk Mardler yurt. Plenty of space for family of 4 and all the equipment for cooking. Hot showers, brilliant wifi, 5 mins walk to the coast path, 10 mins walk to centre of Cromer. Loved the pool, especially the private 45 min booking slot. Very quiet after 10pm, so perfect for families."

Helen C, Sept 2025

"Absolutely loved our weekend in a yurt at The Grove. Comfortably equipped, with thoughtful touches and plenty of space. Our children were safe and free and we had such a good time with friends. We will be back! Thank you.."
