The Grove Glamping

Accessibility
At The Grove Glamping, we strive to make our site as welcoming and accessible as possible for people with disabilities. Our toilet and shower block includes a disabled-access restroom and a larger, more accessible shower. However, please note that the yurts each have at least one step, making them unsuitable for wheelchair access. Similarly, the Shepherd's Lodge, being raised on wheels, requires guests to navigate three steps, with additional steps on the decking due to the sloped terrain. For guests needing wheelchair-friendly accommodation, The Grove Hotel offers accessible rooms.

Sustainability
The Grove Glamping is committed to reducing our carbon footprint and embracing eco-friendly practices. Each yurt comes with a large recycling bin, which can be emptied into a communal recycling area as needed. In 2021, we transitioned to online forms and a check-in video to minimize paper waste. We also offer three electric car charging points on-site, though we ask that guests return their vehicles to the glamping or overflow car park once charging is complete. All outdoor lights, including those for the toilet and shower facilities, are sensor-activated to conserve energy. We also encourage guests to turn off lights and appliances in the undercover eating area during the day and after bedtime. Much of our glamping furniture is upcycled, and we invite guests to see how many repurposed items they can spot during their stay! We are always open to suggestions for further improving our environmental sustainability.
