So... what do I need to pack? - Here are 25 things...

Often people ask me what they need to take on a glamping holiday. I thought I would do a kit list for you - 25 essentials. Please bear in mind that The Grove Glamping is fully kitted out with everything you need - like a coffee percolator, hot water bottles, a cheese grater and wine glasses. However, there are a few things that are definitely worth adding to your kit list... especially near the beach. So here goes...

1. Eye masks - most glamping accommodation wont have black out blinds so this is super useful, especially in the height of summer.

Our favourite eye masks are these.

2. Slippers and wellies - the UK weather is pretty unpredictable - it's lovely to have slippers inside and wellies outside.

3. A beanie - lovely for early mornings and late nights around the campfire

4. Marshmallows and skewers - essential for campfires!

5. Towels and washing up utensils - check whether the glamping site provides these or not.

6. Thick socks - my auntie always told me that if your feet were warm then you would be warm!

7. Board games - Glamping is a great time to play board games. I'm not sure what your favourite is, my kids love Splendor at the moment.

Click here for more info on Splendor.

8. Beach games/toys - we have a glamping site right near the beach, so a few beach toys and games make it really fun. If you want a slightly different toy then check this out:

9. Tupperware - to make sandwiches/ snacks and take them to the beach.

10. Inflatable body boards - we got these a few years ago and love them. They are easy to carry and are so much fun.

11. Stargazing app - at night you are probably going to gaze up at the stars at some point. It's fun to find out what you are looking at!

12. Thick coat or a Dry Robe. Lots of different companies do dry robes. They are not cheap, but if you fancy splashing out then they are super warm and versatile.

14. Head torch - really useful when trying to find something in the yurt when the kids are asleep.

15. Swimmers - essential when staying at The Grove Glamping - the swimming pool and the beach!

16. Books - for the children I would get them an activity book and for me a nice holiday book to read.

17. Sunglasses - even in the winter it gets pretty bright near the sea.

18. Sun cream - even if there is a sea breeze, the sun is pretty hot in Cromer.

19. Pop up goals and a football to put up near your yurt.

20. Cricket set - for the beach or outside of Sundown restaurant.

21. Baby wipes - always useful, even if you no longer have small children.

22. Wetsuits - if you are coming in the shoulder months and still fancy some fun in the sea.

23. Treats - either food or drink or both. Make it really special with some nice tasty treats.

24. Phone chargers - we have electricity in the yurts and Shepherd's Lodge but don't provide chargers.

25. Charcoal - while you are glamping you definitely want to have a BBQ.

I hope this is helpful - enjoy your time glamping.
